The 1971–72 Allsvenskan was the 38th season of the top division of Swedish handball. 10 teams competed in the league. SoIK Hellas won the regular season and also won the playoffs to claim their sixth Swedish title. Vikingarnas IF and Ystads IF were relegated.[1][2]
