The 2019–20 Big East Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2019, followed by the start of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play began in January 2020.
Head coaches
Coaching changes
In April 2019, Chris Mullin resigned as the head coach of St. John's, leaving the program after four seasons.[1] On April 19, Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson was hired by St. John's as Mullin's replacement.[2]
