The 2023–24 South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball team represents the University of South Carolina during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by second-year head coach Lamont Paris, and play their home games at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina as a member of the Southeastern Conference.

Previous season

The Gamecocks finished the 2022–23 season 11–20, 4–14 in SEC play to finish in twelfth place. As the No. 12 seed in the SEC tournament, they lost to Ole Miss in the first round.
