The 2023–24 South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team represents the University of South Carolina during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Gamecocks, led by sixteenth-year head coach Dawn Staley, play their home games at Colonial Life Arena and compete as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Previous season

The Gamecocks finished the season 36–1 (16–0 SEC). They won the regular season and tournament SEC championships and received an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, where they defeated Norfolk State, South Florida, UCLA, and Maryland before falling to Iowa in the Final Four.
