The 2024 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships will be the 26th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participate at several levels of competition based on their 2023 results. The competition will also serve as qualifications for division placements in the 2025 edition.[1]
As in 2023, teams from Russia and Belarus have not been allowed to enter, as they remain suspended by the IIHF due to the countries' invasion of Ukraine.[2]
Championship (Top Division)
The tournament will be held from 4 to 14 April at Adirondack Bank Center and the Utica University Nexus Center in Utica, New York, United States.[3][4]
