Alexei Sayle's Imaginary Sandwich Bar is a stand up and storytelling BBC Radio 4 show hosted and written by Alexei Sayle.[1]

The show features Alexei delivering "a mixture of stand-up, memoir and philosophy from behind the counter of his imaginary sandwich bar".[2][3] It has garnered critical acclaim, winning a BBC Audio Drama award in 2020.[4]

The first episode aired in 2016, with 4 series having aired as of 2023. A 5th series is in the works.

A tie-in book was released in 2017.[5]
