Aristaeopsis is a monotypic genus of deepwater prawn. Its only species Aristaeopsis edwardsiana, commonly known as Carabineros shrimp or cardinal prawn, is the target of commercial fisheries.[3] The scientific name honours Henri Milne-Edwards
