Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said (Arabic: ذي يزن بن هيثم آل سعيد, romanized: Ḏī Yazin bin Hayṯam ʾĀl Saʿīd; born 21 August 1990) is the Crown Prince of Oman[1] as the oldest son of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. Since 2020, Theyazin has served as the minister of culture, youth and sports.

Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tariq attended Oxford University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science.[2] In July 2022 he graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.[3][4]

His father is Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq, the current Sultan of Oman. His mother is Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah. He has one brother and two sisters.[5] His paternal uncle Sayyid Asad bin Tariq is the Deputy Prime Minister for relations and international cooperation affairs, and his other paternal uncle (also husband of maternal aunt and wife's father[6]) Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq is the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs.[7] The former Sultan, Qaboos bin Said, is his father's cousin.[8]

Theyazin has been Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth since 18 August 2020. He previously worked at the Omani Embassy in London for five years from 2014 (second secretary).[9] He has also worked at the foreign ministry from 2013, according to Omani media.[10][11]

On 11 November 2021, Theyazin married his first cousin Sayyida Meyyan Bint Shihab Al Said, the daughter of Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister For Defence Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said.
