Edwin Bruton Peacock III (born March 6, 1970) is the President of The Pomfret Financial Company, Inc.

Education

He received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Certificate of Global Studies from the University of Georgia. He is a graduate of Charlotte Country Day School. Peacock received his Charter Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College.

Peacock is the President of The Pomfret Financial Company, Inc., an independent insurance and business planning firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC.

Political biography

He is a former elected official from North Carolina. He was first elected in 2007 and served two terms on City Council until 2011. He ran in the 2012 in the Ninth Congressional District's Republican primary placing third out of eleven candidates on the ballot. He was the Republican Nominee for Mayor of Charlotte in 2013 and 2015. As of 2023, he remains the last Republican elected At-Large in the City of Charlotte.
