Haya is a monotypic genus of plant in the family Caryophyllaceae.[2] It is endemic to Yemen's Socotra island.[1] As of March 2014 The Plant List recognises the single species Haya obovata.[2] Haya obovata grows in subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and rocky areas.[1]
