Hypoptopoma bianale is a species of catfish of the family Loricariidae.
This catfish reaches a maximum length of 5.4 centimetres (2.1 in) SL. It is demersal, being found in fresh water in the tropics.
Hypoptopoma bianale is native to South America, Rio Solimòes in Brazil and Río Ucayali in Peru.
Interactions with humans
Hypoptopoma bianale is harmless to humans.
