Khar Lake (Mongolian: Хар нуур, lit. "black lake", Chinese: 哈尔湖) is located in the Zavkhan aimag (province) in western Mongolia. Khar Lake occupies a dale in the Khangai Mountains to the East from the Great Lakes Depression.
