Dawlat al-Islam Qamat (Arabic: دَوْلَة اُلْإِسْلَامِ قَامَتْ, lit.'The Islamic State Has Been Established'), also known by its English name My Ummah, Dawn Has Appeared (Arabic: أُمَّتِي قَدْ لَاحَ فَجْرٌ, romanized: Ummatī qad la-hā fajrūn), is a jihadi nasheed (chant) which became an unofficial anthem of the Islamic State. It was released in December 2013 and soon became their most popular song.[1] The American magazine The New Republic referred to it as the most influential song of 2014.[2]

The chant is a capella apart from sound effects of a sword being unsteathed, feet stomping, and gunfire. It was produced by the Ajnad Media Foundation, which produces most Islamic State songs. The song has also been used by the Nigerian jihadist group Boko Haram to accompany speeches.[1]

Other foreign language versions

In 2015, ISIL's propaganda agency released their first Chinese song, We are the Mujahid (Chinese: 我們是聖戰士), a chorus song with a total length of 4:06. The singer has an Uyghur accent.[3]
