The New Nigeria People's Party is a populist[3] political party in Nigeria, predominantly active in Kano State. It contested the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, but its standard-bearer, Rabiu Kwankwaso, came in 4th place, carrying only one state, its stronghold of Kano.[4] In an interview with the party chairman, Rufai Alkali he claimed the party to be the fastest growing party in Nigeria not only in Kano State[5]

Call for Cancellation of 2023 Election
Alkali, The National chairman of the New Nigerian People's Party has call on the Nigeria Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party (Nigeria) to support the cancellation of 2022 Presidential election in Nigeria. He further called that new election should be conducted with transparency[6]
