Eggenberg Brewery is an Austrian brewery founded in 1681 by Michael Weismann when he bought the brewery from the Monastery of Kremsmuenster. Samichlaus (pronounced Sammy-Claws) was one of their strongest beers in the world, at 14% alcohol by volume. The name means Santa Claus in Swiss German.
