• Do we have any idea of a date? Apart from being essential to railway photography generally. It is particularly important here as it is not a particularly high quality photograph, but if it's old or of a unique locomotive/sets then allowances can be made. — Dunc|☺ 12:32, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Exact date is unknown. I didn't take the photo and the source doesn't list a date. The photo would have to have been taken between 1961 (when the unit was built) and 1965 (when it was renumbered). EASports 21:40, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

• neutral while it is a unique locomotive, photos of it are not entirely scarce. Commercially available models of this locomotive were available in HO scale as a brass import for a while. As to this image, the side is well lit, but the nose is not, and the image is cropped so close to the locomotive's nose that its almost cut off; there's much more room at the back of the locomotive set which makes me wonder why the front is cropped so closely.
