Rüdiger Selig (born 19 February 1989) is a German professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Astana Qazaqstan Team.[7]
Born in Zwenkau, Selig competed as an amateur until the middle of 2011, when he joined Leopard Trek as a stagiaire. In October, he won the Binche–Tournai–Binche race.[8] In September 2015 Bora–Argon 18 announced that Selig would join them for the 2016 season, in order to strengthen the team's sprint train.[9] He was named in the start list for the 2016 Vuelta a España[10] and the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia.[11] In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the 2017 Tour de France.[12]
