Sebastian Foss-Solevåg (born 13 July 1991) is a Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in slalom. He is world champion, Olympic bronze medalist and three times national champion in slalom.

Career

Born in Ålesund, he competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, in slalom where he placed ninth.[2]

Foss-Solevåg's first World Cup podium came in January 2015 at Zagreb, Croatia,[3] and his first win came six years later at Flachau, Austria. He won the gold medal in the slalom at the World Championships in 2021,[4] and won another in the team event.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics he won a bronze medal in the mixed team competition,[1] along with Nina Haver-Løseth, Kristin Lysdahl, Maren Skjøld, Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen and Jonathan Nordbotten.[5]

Competing at the 2022 Winter Olympics he won a bronze medal in men's slalom,[1] behind Clément Noël and Johannes Strolz.[6]

Foss Solevåg became national champion in slalom in 2013, 2015 and 2021.[7]
