National Fisheries Service (Spanish: Servicio Nacional de Pesca y Acuicultura) or SERNAPESCA after its Spanish initials is a Chilean government agency tasked with protecting hydrobiological resources. National Fisheries Service supervises the use of hydrobiological resources and administers the national sanitary management of said resources. It depends on the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism.[1]
