Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said (born in 1955[1]) is an Omani member of the royal family and one of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Oman.
Shihab is the brother of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said.[1] He was an advisor to Sultan Qaboos. He was also Rear Admiral and the head of Royal Navy of Oman from August 1990[3] until 2004.[1]
Sultan Haitham appointed him as Deputy Prime Minister for defence affairs in March 2020.[4] As deputy prime minister for defence, He is answerable only to the sultan in defence matters.[4]
