Shin'ichirō Hattori (服部 慎一郎, Hattori Shin'ichirō, August 2, 1999) is a Japanese professional shogi player ranked 6-dan.[1]
Titles and other championships
Hattori has yet to appear in a major title match, but he has won two non-title tournaments.[2] He won the 11th Kakogawa Seiryū Tournament in September 2021 by defeating Akihiro Ida 2 games to 1.[3] In October–November 2022, Hattori defeated Takayuki Kuroda 2 games to 1 to win the 53rd Shinjin-Ō tournament.[4]

Hattori won the Japan Shogi Association's Annual Shogi Awards for "Best New Player" and "Most Games Played" in 2023.[7]
