Tiruppur is a Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu. Its Tamil Nadu Parliamentary Constituency number is 18 of 39. Originally, Gobichettipalayam, it was converted to Tiruppur by Election commission after rearrangement of constituencies in 2008.[2]
