The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying League B is the second division of the 2025 edition of qualifying for the UEFA Women's Championship, the international football competition involving the women's national teams of the member associations of UEFA. The results will also be used to determine the leagues for the 2025–26 UEFA Women's Nations League competition.
Format
League B consists of 16 UEFA members ranked 17th to 32nd among competition entrants in the 2023–24 UEFA Women's Nations League ranking, split into four groups of four. Each team will play six matches within their group, using the home-and-away round-robin format with double matchdays in April, May to June, and July 2024.[1]
After the league phase, the best-ranked League B teams will advance to the play-offs to determine who qualifies for the final tournament.[2]
In principle, the four group winners and two best-ranked runners-up in League B will be drawn into six ties against the remaining two runners-up and four third-placed teams in League B. The six winners will progress to the second round.[2]
However Switzerland, as hosts, are guaranteed a spot in the final tournament and will not take part in the play-offs. Adjustments will be made where necessary to the play-off paths to accommodate this.[1][2]
The competition also acts as the first phase for the 2025–26 UEFA Women's Nations League, which will use an identical league structure. The winners of each group will be promoted to League A, while the fourth-placed team from each group and the worst-ranked third placed team will be relegated to League C.[1][2]
Seeding
Teams were allocated to League B according to their ranking after the conclusion of the 2023–24 UEFA Women's Nations League Promotion and relegation matches on 28 February 2024. Teams were split into four pots of four teams, ordered based on their UEFA Nations League ranking.[2]

Qualification for playoffs
The twelve best-ranked teams will advance to the play-offs (excluding Switzerland who qualify automatically as hosts).[1][2] This implies that if Switzerland finish first, second, or third in their group, then the best-ranked fourth-placed team will advance to the play-offs instead of them.[note 1]
For the first round, the six higher-ranked League B teams will be seeded, and drawn against the six lower-ranked League B teams. The winner of those ties will advance to the second round.[1][2]
