Vos Iz Neias? (Yiddish: "What's New?"), also known as "VIN News", is an online news site that caters to the Orthodox Jewish and Hasidic communities, primarily in the New York metropolitan area.[1] Vos Iz Neias competes with Matzav and Yeshiva World News as the major news websites for the Haredi Jewish world.[2]
Vos Iz Neias is owned by four anonymous Orthodox Jewish investors.[2] The site has become a source for the mainstream media as well, and has been quoted in The New York Times,[3][4] Daily News,[5] Miami Herald[6] and the New York Post.[7] There are advertisers and writers, but since all business is conducted through the internet and through PayPal, the anonymity of the investors are maintained.[8]
Vos Iz Neias endorsed Donald Trump in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election due to his support of school vouchers and position on Israel.[9]
