伊恩·克肖
伊恩·克肖（英語：, 1943年4月29日—）是一位英国历史学家，专门研究纳粹主义，自1989年起任謝菲大學現代史教授直至退休，著有多本著名的希特拉傳記，且被學界視為最頂尖的納粹德國問題專家之一。

伊恩·克肖曾師從德國歷史學家馬丁·布羅薩特，自認其納粹德國史觀深受布羅薩特啟發[2]。曾任《納粹警世錄》（Nazis: A Warning from History）及《世紀大戰》（War of the Century）等英國廣播公司記錄片歷史專家顧問。[3]
生平
1943年出生于英国奧爾德姆，毕业于利物浦大学和牛津大学墨顿学院。初期主力研究中世紀約克郡博爾頓修道院經濟史，任曼徹斯特大學中世紀史講師時為研究中世紀德國農民階級而開始學習德語。1972年，克肖在慕尼黑一間咖啡室與一名德國老人閒談，對老人支持納粹主義的立場十分驚訝，自此轉而研究現代德國社會史，以理解戰前德國大眾支持納粹主義的原因。[4]
巴伐利亞研究計劃
1975年，克肖加入由布羅薩特主持的「巴伐利亞研究計劃」，受布羅薩特鼓勵研究當時平常人對希特拉的看法，續撰寫《希特拉神話》（The "Hitler Myth"）一書，研究對希特拉的個人崇拜的構造於破滅以及其在社會各群體之間的受歡迎度。
