遠東哲羅魚（Parahucho perryi）原先也被归于哲罗鱼属（学名为Hucho perryi），但是基因学研究和证据表明它其实应该单独属于另外一个叫作副哲罗鱼属（Parahucho）的新属[2][3][4]。
