尼泊爾旅遊業

旅遊業是尼泊爾最大的產業，亦是其最大的外匯收入來源，每年收益超過4億美元[1]。擁有世界十大最高峰的八個，加上其受到印度教和佛教的影響，使它成為登山及旅遊的熱點[2]。

位於尼泊尔首都加德滿都的帕舒帕蒂纳特庙是世界最大供奉湿婆的廟宇，每年都吸引不少印度裔的信徒前來參拜。另外，尼泊尔也是释迦牟尼的出生地，因此亦有不少佛教徒慕名而來。

體育旅遊

遠足是很多遊客前來尼泊爾的重點活動。潘恩山、安納布爾納峰大本營、珠穆朗瑪峰大本營的步道都是比較入門的選擇。資深的登山家會挑戰海拔8千米以上的高峰進行攻頂。
