巨球型菌属
巨球型菌属（学名：）為韦荣氏菌目韦荣氏菌科的一属严格厌氧的革兰氏阴性球菌。球状菌。分离于牛和羊的瘤胃、人的粪便和肠道及腐败的瓶装啤酒。此属的模式种为埃氏巨球型菌(Megasphaera elsdenii)。
