彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡
彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡（學名：）是舊世界鸚鵡科吸蜜鸚鵡屬下的一種鳥類。[3]這種鳥類分佈於澳洲東南部及塔斯馬尼亞，有兩個亞種。[3]目前這個物種被評為無危，但因其極為熱絡的貿易價值，被認為其野生族群正在下降。[1][4]

這種鳥類由德國動物學家约翰·弗里德里希·格梅林描述，並獨立於同時命名的新幾內亞彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡之外。[5]後來因極度相似的外觀而被認為是新幾內亞彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡的數個亞種，但現在被世界鳥類學家聯合會自該物種下分離出來，並保有了彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡的俗名。[3][6][7]其屬名源自希臘語，由（轉寫：thrix，意為「毛髮」）及（轉寫：glōssa，意為「舌頭」）組成。[8]:389而種小名指的即為摩鹿加群島。[8]:258
這種鳥類為植食性，以當地的樹木和灌木的花蜜和花粉為食。[7]其體長介於27—30公分，體重70—146公克，翼展平均46公分。[7]
