過程

根據該專案的官方網站，俄羅斯軍人可以通過多種方式提出求助和投降。這些包括撥打全天候熱線電話，或按照項目之Telegram頻道上聊天機器人的指示進行操作。專案啟動後不久，俄羅斯政府就阻擋從俄羅斯聯邦本土及所控制的烏克蘭領土連線進入該專案[5][6][3]。

2022年9月18日，烏克蘭政府的戰俘待遇協調指揮部啟動這個特殊專案，開通了24小時受理俄國軍人及其家屬求救之熱線電話[7][8]。

同年10月5日，在該專案的幫助下，第一位在俄羅斯宣布部分動員令後被動員的俄羅斯軍人向烏克蘭武裝部隊投降[9]。

在專案實施的第一個月，就處理了來自俄羅斯軍人的三千多通電話[10]。

11月13日晚，一段公開處決前瓦格纳集团戰鬥人員葉夫根尼·努津的影片在網路流傳，據稱他早些時候自願向烏克蘭軍方投降。但烏克蘭的戰俘待遇指揮部代表稱，這段視頻是俄羅斯的情報行動，目的是抹黑“我想活下去”專案，恐嚇俄羅斯軍人使其不向烏克蘭投降。此外，根據總部的官方聲明，斷然否認葉夫根尼·努任曾主動投降[4]。
