《絕命律師》是由文斯·吉利根和彼得·古爾德共同開創的美國犯罪劇情電視劇，於2015年在AMC首播，是吉利根之前開創的電視劇《絕命毒師》（2008-2013年）的外傳／前傳劇。該劇主要背景設定在2000年代上半葉的新墨西哥州阿爾伯克基，講述吉米·麥吉爾（鮑勃·奧登科克 飾）如何從一位認真工作的前騙子律師，慢慢轉變成以自我為中心的刑事辯護律師“薩爾·古德曼”。該劇還展示前警官麥克·艾曼翠岳（喬納森·班克斯 飾）道德淪喪的過程，他為了賺錢養活寡婦兒媳和孫女而成為毒販的“清潔工”。
