谢益辉

谢益辉（英語：），中国籍统计学家和数据科学家。他是R语言包knitr的主要作者。主要著作包括Dynamic Documents with R and knitr[1]和bookdown: Authoring Books and Technical Documents with R Markdown[2][3]。目前他是RStudio的软件工程师。

教育经历

谢益辉本科及硕士毕业于中国人民大学统计学院。2009年赴美留学，在爱荷华州立大学统计系获得博士学位，其导师为Di Cook和Heike Hofmann。

职业经历

谢益辉于2007年开始编写R包animation，主要功能是通过R语言生成动画[4]。2011年他创建了R包knitr，使可重复性科学研究在R语言中变得便利。2013年他以软件工程师身份入职RStudio。

主要奖项

因为animation包的贡献，他获得了2009年美国统计学会的John M. Chambers统计软件奖[5]。
