生平
1959年，赵家玲出生于美国加利福尼亚州阿纳海姆。[3] 赵家玲的父亲在美国经营煎饼餐厅，他们家对面就是加州迪士尼乐园，从小她就被迪士尼乐园聘用。读书时，赵家玲就读的学校是一所全女子学校，而她是唯一的非白种人。1978年，赵家玲毕业于波莫納學院。
