- Juniper
Juniper Kim Lee（Juniper全名）是故事中的主角。這位11歲的中美混血少女擁有「守護者」身份，有一隻通知她發生大事的手環。在外婆和小狗蒙羅的協助下，Juniper每次都能完成困難的任務。另外，Juniper身上的花圖案象徵「保護」。
- 婆婆
婆婆是Juniper前一代的「守護者」，現年69歲，通常被稱為「阿嬷」。在現時的魔界中，婆婆挺受歡迎，更被尊敬為魔界歷年來最佳「守護者」。她勇敢果斷，努力不懈，對Juniper提供幫助和教導有方。她亦寶刀未老，仍然擁有壓制魔獸的武打能力。也可能因為這樣，她希望Juniper可以學上其武藝境界。阿嬷是Juniper的爸爸的媽媽, 所以是她婆婆, 不是外婆。(見21集) 阿嬷是婆婆的廣府話說法。
- 蒙羅
蒙羅是一隻施過魔法的小狗，懂得說帶有強音的蘇格蘭英語。他曾經在魔界中接受過特殊訓練，成為多個年代以來的「守護者」搭擋。儘管如此，他對魔法武器和咒語的使用是有限的。蒙羅亦是唯一可讓大家看見的魔界生物，平時的說話在人們面前會化為吠聲。
- 小瑞
小瑞是Juniper的8歲小弟弟。他也可以望見及進入魔界，但能量卻是從Juniper的勢能揮發而得到的。小瑞非常活躍和不小心，令他經常在魔界探索新事物兼且闖下大禍。
