製作背景
- 專輯名稱來自於希臘文中根源，起源之意，由主唱京所提案。吉他手薰表示，想回到最初團體成立時的想法及心情去進行創作。[6]
- 封面設計由負責前張專輯《DUM SPIRO SPERO》及《輪廓》等作品的依田耕治製作。起初由成員提出的「起源」與「水」，以及「令人連想到誕生的過程」等字眼而進行構思。
- 製作過程中共錄製了將近20首歌曲;但由於收錄空間的限制，之後決定以雙CD的方式追加收錄兩首歌曲（收錄於完全生產限定版中）。專輯分為完全生產限量版（2CD+DVD or Blu-ray）、初回限量版（2CD）、以及普通版等三種型式發行。
