漫步莎莉园

漫步莎莉园（英語：，爱尔兰语：）是爱尔兰诗人威廉·巴特勒·叶芝的一首诗，收录于1889年出版的诗集《莪相的漫游及其他》中。[1]

译名

诗名有“柳园里”“走过柳园”“莎莉花园”“走过黄柳园”等多种译名。

历史

叶芝在记录中将该诗称为“是对一首老歌进行重现的尝试，老歌来自于巴利索达尔村一个老农妇记忆中不完整的三条线，她经常唱歌给自己听。”[2]所谓的老歌或许是民谣《快乐的漫步男孩》（）[3]，歌词中包含如下句子：

“Down by yon flowery garden my love and I we first did meet.
I took her in my arms and to her I gave kisses sweet
She bade me take life easy just as the leaves fall from the tree.
But I being young and foolish, with my darling did not agree.”

这4句与叶芝诗中的第一节非常相似，这也暗示了这就是叶芝所听老妇所唱的那首歌。然而，歌的余下部分则完全不同。

1895年，这首诗首次刊登时，在现有的标题后面还加上了“老歌新唱”（）这行字。[4]

据信莎莉园（）就在巴利索达尔的河岸边，岸边种植了居民用以盖屋顶的树木。[6][7]“”或“”是标准英语词汇“”（黄华柳）的另一种形式。它与意为柳树的爱尔兰词汇发音相近。

配曲

1909年，诗词被赫伯特·休斯(作曲家)加入了抒情调音乐《穆尔洛赫湖岸》中。[1]20世纪20年代，作曲家丽贝卡·克拉克（1886年——1979年）将其加进了自己的音乐。[8]作曲家约翰·艾尔兰（1879年——1962年）将诗词配上旋律加进了他作于1929年至1931年的声乐套曲《圣歌与俗歌》之中。[9][10]1938年，出版了由作曲家艾弗·格尼作曲的歌曲版本。[11]1943年，本杰明·布里顿为这首诗谱过曲。[12]1988年，美国作曲家约翰·科里利亚诺出版了此诗的配乐版本。[13]

實際使用

此曲曾在英女皇訪港（1986年10月21日 [14]） ，她離開香港大會堂演奏廳時演奏。此曲也是無印良品的店鋪背景音樂之一。
