创作背景

歌曲“Faded”是艾倫·沃克过去作品“Fade”的新版本，该作品于2014年通过唱片公司无版权音效发行。

在“Faded”的创作中，从2013年开始在音乐制作人Ahrix的音乐“新星”中受到启发。在接受采访时他说：“旋律和音轨的发展方式是如此独特，它激发了我的灵感创造‘Fade’，后来成为‘Faded’。风格的灵感来自挪威制片人K-391。旋律，我不知道它来自哪里，但我试着让我的情绪和感受对我产生的旋律有很大的影响。”[4]
