生平
1931年，朗斯代尔出生在法国巴黎，他的母亲具有法国爱尔兰混血的血统，父亲是英国血统，最初，他们家居住在英国英格兰的伦敦市，后来搬迁到美国的新泽西州，第二次世界大战时期，他们搬迁到摩洛哥的卡萨布兰卡。[1]
1947年，朗斯代尔搬迁到法国的巴黎学习绘画，24岁时，他登台演出。[1]
2010年电影《人神之间》为他赢得凯撒电影奖最佳男配角奖。
