RISC OS

RISC OS (發音: /rɪskˈɛs/)[3] 是给ARM架构的系统设计的一系列基于图形用户界面的电脑操作系统。它的名字来源于它所支持的精简指令集RISC 架构。 这个OS原本是被艾康電腦Acorn Computers)公司开发,用于他们的1987的Archimedes个人电脑,该个人电脑使用的是Acorn RISC Machine处理器。它是由命令行界面桌面环境组成的视窗系统

最新的稳定版本运行在 ARMv3/ARMv4 RiscPC[4](或根据仿真通过VirtualAcornRPCEmu),ARMv5的Iyonix[5]和ARMv7的Cortex-A8处理器[6][7] (如使用的BeagleBoardTouch Book)。在2011年,一个移植的Cortex-A9 PandaBoard已宣布[8]树莓派在公众场合露面的开发版本可免费下载的候选发布版已跟进[9][10][11],这版本已免费提供树莓派用户。[12]
