寄宿学校

寄宿学校(英語:是種學生(可能還有教師)共同住在校舍內學習的學校體制。英联邦国家的许多公学都是寄宿学校,學生在寄宿学校的时间从1年到12年,或者更久。寄宿学校的学生可能只會在假期回家,在跟監護人分開的情況下度过童年、青春期。在美国,寄宿学校通常為7到12年级,主要為中学階段。大部分寄宿学校也有通勤生(day students),他们通常是該社區的居民或教職員工的孩子。某些美国的寄宿学校是為了進行军事训练。[1]
