The 1972 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented the University of Georgia as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1972 NCAA University Division football season. Led by ninth-year head coach Vince Dooley, the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 7–4, with a mark of 4–3 in conference play, and finished fifth in the SEC.[1]
