  1. Schäfer was born in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, but was raised in Germany from the age of 7 and represented Germany at U-15, U-16, and U-18 level.
  2. Beck was born in Kemerovo, Soviet Union (now Russia), but was raised in Germany from the age of 3 and represented Germany at U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 level before making his international debut for Germany in February 2009.
  3. Baştürk was born in Herne, West Germany (now Germany), but also qualified to represent Turkey internationally and made his debut for Turkey in 1998.
