The 2017 Caterpillar Burnie International is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts as part of the 2017 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2017 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $75,000 in prize money for men and $60,000 for women. It was the fourteenth (for men) and eighth (for women) edition of the tournament, which returned to the tennis calendar after missing 2016 due to difficulty acquiring funds.[1] It took place in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia, on 28 January–4 February 2017.
