The 2022 Legends League Cricket, or LLC Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Legends League Cricket Franchise event, hosted in India. The tournament was exclusively for retired cricket players. It brought together former international and domestic cricket players to step on the field.[1]
The season was held in India between 16 September to 5 October 2022. The League featured four teams - India Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Bhilwara Kings, and Manipal Tigers.[2]
The tournament was won by India Capitals, who beat the Bhilwara Kings in the final.[3]
Venue
The matches were played in six different cities - Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Cuttack, Jodhpur, and Jaipur.[4]
The qualifiers were played in Jodhpur, and the final match was played in Jaipur.

Special match
A special commemorative match was played between India Maharajas and World Giants to honor the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration marking the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence.[5] The match was played on September 16, 2022, at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.[6]
