The 2022 Legends League Cricket Masters or LLC Masters was the first season of Legends League Cricket, a Twenty20 cricket tournament featuring retired players, many of them former internationals.

For the first edition of the league Virender Sehwag,[1] Misbah ul Haq, and Darren Sammy were announced as the captains of the three teams.[2] The league featured former international players such as Brett Lee, Shoaib Akhtar, Muttiah Muralitharan, Kevin Pietersen, Irfan Pathan, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mohammad Kaif, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Mohammad Yousuf.[3]

The tournament was played in Oman in January 2022.[4]

Venue

The season was hosted by Oman Cricket at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground.[5][6]

Squads

India Maharajas Asia Lions World Giants

Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh missed all matches after testing positive for COVID-19 before the tournament started. Mohammed Kaif led India Maharajas in Sehwag's absence.[7] Daniel Vettori missed the tournament due to COVID-related travel restrictions whilst Yuvraj Singh did not play due to the birth of his child.[8]

The scheduling of the competition clashed with the 2022 Pakistan Super League, resulting in a number of cricketers from Pakistan only playing one or two matches.[9][10]

Points table

Each team played the others twice during the round-robin stage with the top two teams qualifying for the final.
