The 2023 edition of the Festival du nouveau cinéma, the 52nd edition in the event's history, took place from October 4 to 15, 2023 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.[1]
The festival opened with The Taste of Things (La Passion de Dodin Bouffant) by Tran Anh Hung, and closed with The Animal Kingdom (Le Rène animal) by Thomas Cailley.[2]
