A Lonely Island in the Distant Sea (Hangul: 절해고도,[1] Revised Romanization: Jeolhaegodo[2]) is a 2021[3] South Korean drama[4] film written and directed by Kim Mi-young.[5][6] The film won the 2021 DGK MEGABOX Award at the Busan International Film Festival.[7][8]

A divorced sculptor decides to become a monk.
