Abu Akfa (Persian: ابوعکفا) is a village in Bani Saleh Rural District of Neysan District, Hoveyzeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

After the 2006 census, Hoveyzeh District was separated from Dasht-e Azadegan County in the establishment of Hoveyzeh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Hoveyzeh as its capital.[3]

At the 2011 National Census, Abu Akfa's population was 490 in 103 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 735 people in 163 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
