The Afghanistan cricket team are touring India in January 2024 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.[1][2][3]
The series marked the first time these nations engaged in a multi-match white-ball series.[4] The series formed part of both teams' preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament.[5][6]

On 10 January 2024, Rashid Khan was ruled out of Afghanistan's squad because of not recovering from a lower-back surgery.[9]
