The African chaffinch (Fringilla spodiogenys) is a species of passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. It is found from Morocco to northwestern Tunisia and northeastern Libya.[1] It was formerly considered a subspecies of the common chaffinch, F. coelebs.[2]
